NONDISCRIMINATION   

The New Mexico Health Insurance Exchange, also known as beWellnm, complies with applicable federal civil rights laws and does not discriminate based on race, color, national origin, age, disability, sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity. BeWellnm does not exclude people or treat them differently because of their race, color, national origin, age, disability, sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity.

ACCESSIBILITY

 BeWellnm provides free support and services to individuals with disabilities to ensure they can get the information they need to access health insurance coverage through beWellnm.

Specifically, beWellnm provides:

  • Free auxiliary aids and services to people with disabilities to communicate effectively with us, such as qualified sign language interpreters and written information in other formats (large print, audio, accessible electronic formats, other formats)
  • Free language assistance services to people whose primary language is not English, such as qualified interpreters and information written in other languages (see page 2).

 HOW TO SUBMIT A GRIEVANCE

If you believe that beWellnm has failed to provide you with appropriate services or has discriminated against you in another way based on race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability, you can submit a grievance to:
