Compare Plans and Find the Right Coverage
On healthcare.gov's anonymous browsing tool , you can first view plans from health insurance companies and make apples-to-apples comparisons between benefits and prices before you apply and enroll.
When you shop for plans you will see 5 categories, or metal levels, of coverage on healthcare.gov through NMHIX. These categories refer to how much you pay and how much the insurance company typically pays for covered benefits. The categories having nothing to do with the quality or amount of care you get.

What to consider when choosing a plan category
